JUNIOR HIGH SCHOOL
Welcome to the Junior High School department of MGIS. Here our learners have a demanding, stimulating, creative and convivial experience. We create a safe and nourishing environment that affords learners the prospect to thrive at their own pace through Differentiated teaching approaches.
Our teaching and support staff are ready to challenge our learners to a standard of excellence in all aspect of their lives in and outside of the classroom as they are nurtured into global leaders with great communicative skills and empathy.
We use the Cambridge Assessment International Exams and Pearson Edexcel curriculums to instruct learners from Year 7 to Year 9. This is to adequately prepare them for Senior High School which writes the IGCSE. Students in Years 7 and 8 write the International School Assessment Exams in February while Year 9 students write the Cambridge Lower Secondary Checkpoint Examinations in English, Mathematics and Science in the month of April.
As prevalent throughout the whole school, we encourage a love for the Arts in all forms as well as dedication to community service through our elaborate extra and co- curricular activities.
